Social media is an amazing way to communicate with people whom you can’t meet easily. Besides, it’s also a great source for finding old school and college friends. Social media has become an essential part of our lives and we spend most of our time in updating social media profiles and sharing every day experiences with friends.
It is a fun thing to use social media for sharing something with your kith and kin but some people make this experience a little annoying. In post, we are going to take a look at some of those annoying things that people do on social media:
- Posting Depressive Messages
‘Love is painful’, ‘I hate my life’ and other such statuses become even more depressive when are posted on regular basis. In fact, when asked about the presence situation, some people refuse to say anything and announce that they don’t want to talk about it. Dude! If you don’t want to talk about it, the please don’t say or express it all.
- Fighting Over Political Issue
We find all kinds of people on social media and dedicated politics lovers are one of them. They dedicated follow a particular political party and are always ready to justify the facts and argue for the sake of their favorite political party. Seriously? Some people need to have a life!
- Playing Too Much Candy Crush
Candy crush is an exciting game and no one really cares how much time you spend while playing it. It starts irritating only when you poke someone continuously for life requests. Candy crush is just an example and there are many other games in which players send request for life through Facebook.
- Showering the Timeline with Vacation Pics
If you are just back from a soothing trip, then it is a good thing for you. Anyone who have had fun on a trip would definitely want to share few pictures of the vacation but showering your profiles with those pictures doesn’t make any sense. Instead of blocking your timeline with your holiday pictures, you must rather chill out.
- Posting Something Extremely Disturbing
Some people have a habit of posting every single disturbing thing they witness throughout a day. Train or bus accidents, fights and shootouts are like horrible nightmares and it does scare people. So, what’s the point in sharing the pictures of dead bodies in terrible conditions? One really needs to be aware of the fact that people of almost all ages use social media vividly and it can be a bad experience for them.
- Frequent Relationship Updates
I am sure every person has a friend in her/his Facebook list who changes relationship status way too often. We meet people, like them, enjoy spending time with them and there comes a phase when it all ends and it is life. You can’t do anything about it, so it’s fine to be a little stagnant about the relationships statuses on social media profiles.
- Big Photo Collages for Every Single Relative
A friend of mine made this huge picture collage and posted on his timeline with a picture of his relative whom he met in a family function. This is not the first time he did so and that’s what he likes to do the most on social media. He collects the pictures on his relatives, makes a collage on special occasions and posts them. It might sound sweet for some people, but I just think that it’s not necessary to impress all the relatives with this technique.
- Workout and Bathroom Selfies
No matter how hard you work out in your gym, your workout selfie is not going to be the talk of the town because it’s not flattering at all. Personally, I would never show interests in someone’s workout pictures unless it’s my crush or someone I admire. Besides, what’s the deal with bathroom selfie? Does that bathroom have a secret exit door or it caters special services unlike other ordinary bathrooms? Honestly, I find such pictures extremely annoying.
- Texting Every time You are Online
Imagine, you’ve got a 5 minutes break during work and you log in to your Facebook account to check the notifications or posts from the pages your like and someone pings you. These people are the reason why I don’t prefer to use social media and especially the Facebook. I don’t want to sound rude here, but such people make me realize how angry I can get sometimes.
- Posting Quotes and Thoughts 100 Times a Day
Some people like to post motivational quotes and good thoughts every now and then on their social media profiles. These people are either highly experienced or see themselves as someone who knows everything. Hats off to these people!
I am not trying to set a limitation for sharing various experiences, because we all are free to post whatever we want on our profiles. We all have become a part of these annoying habits at some point and no one is so perfect. But, let’s face it, this needs to be stopped as it might affect your image amongst your followers.
