There is a very common assumption that explains how bosses try to put pressure on employees and make things happen.   1. I totally agree with you- employees should all think about it from the other point-of-view of their boss/company to allow them to better understand their importance to the firm. I’d say being a boss takes some courage as well because you have to handle those employees and you might need to withstand their talks behind you if you put pressure on them, hey?

  2. I started working for myself a couple of years ago and even though I love the freedom I totally miss the office dynamics, the drama, the fun, and antics. All of your tips are very helpful, especially the one about whining about your problems. I hate when people whine, it doesn’t help anything.
